Vote for Lordship Recreation Ground!
Tottenham Labour is urging its supporters to vote for
Lordship Recreation Ground as part of the Mayor of London's 'Help a
London Park' campaign. 10 parks across London will each receive
£400,000 for development.
Lordship Rec lies in the heart of Tottenham and has the
potential to provide facilities including a new city farm,
environmental centre, a restored River Moselle and improved
landscape works - facilities not only vitally important to the
local community, but for residents of Haringey, and Londoners as a
whole.
Over the years the Rec has suffered from a lack of resources and
under usage. But since 2002 there has been increased partnership
working between park users, the Friends Group, community
organisations and the Council to set out a long term strategy for
the Rec and encourage investment.
Promoted by Ray Collins, General Secretary, the Labour Party, on behalf of the Labour Party, both at 39 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0HA. Powered by taobase from Tangent Labs. Hosted by Rackspace, 2 Longwalk Road, Stockley Park, Uxbridge, UB11 1BA.
