   Vote for Lordship Recreation Ground!

Lordship Rec

Tottenham Labour is urging its supporters to vote for Lordship Recreation Ground as part of the Mayor of London's 'Help a London Park' campaign. 10 parks across London will each receive £400,000 for development.

Lordship Rec lies in the heart of Tottenham and has the potential to provide facilities including a new city farm, environmental centre, a restored River Moselle and improved landscape works - facilities not only vitally important to the local community, but for residents of Haringey, and Londoners as a whole.

Over the years the Rec has suffered from a lack of resources and under usage. But since 2002 there has been increased partnership working between park users, the Friends Group, community organisations and the Council to set out a long term strategy for the Rec and encourage investment.
